Gear Up for First Friday
Rain or shine, November’s First Friday is only days away. Since 1991 the first Friday of every month has meant an evening of free art and free libation.
Created by the Old City Arts Association, First Friday is an opportunity for you to experience some of Philadelphia’s finest art as dozens of Old City galleries and arts organizations open their doors. Some galleries coincide their exhibition openings and receptions with First Friday.
First Friday generally runs from 5pm to 9pm, and typically involves about forty Old City galleries. Admission to First Friday is free, but the art, if you take it home, will cost you.
