Music for the Listening

The cost of admissions doesn’t have to be a barrier between you and and the performing arts.  Both the Boyer College at Temple University and the Curtis Institute of Music produce dozens of performances a semester, many of which are completely free.

There are several free options this week from Temple, like the University Chorale, Singer and Chamber Choir on October 24th,  or the Faculty and Guest Artist Recital on October 26th, both in Rock Hall Auditorium at Temple.  Or, you can catch the Temple University Symphony Orchestra at Haverford College on October 28th.  Check the Boyer events calendar for all your opportunities to access the live arts at Temple.

Performances in the Student Recital Series at Curtis are always free, and some faculty recitals are free too.  Students perform at 8pm in Field Concert Hall most Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays through the spring.  Look at Curtis’ Student Recital Series website for the most up-to-date information.
